An immediate opening is available for a SUPERINTENDENT/LEAD CARPENTER. We are an established general contracting and remodeling company based out of Peoria, IL. We perform work throughout the state of Illinois, and we're looking to grow even more!   

We are looking for an individual who is highly qualified, motivated, detail oriented and hardworking. 

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, etc. to determine project needs 
- Set performance goals and deadlines
- Plan construction processes 
- Estimate costs and ensure the project is on budget
- Supervise staff and provide constructive feedback
- Monitor and report on project progress 
- Implement safety and quality guidelines
- Order the appropriate equipment and arrange for regular maintenance
- Keep track of material stock and orders
- Ensure the job site remains safe, clean, and orderly
- Resolve on-site issues and emergencies 

Requirements: 
- Have reliable transportation to and from job sites. Additional compensation may be given if you own your own truck.

We are seeking an experienced Lead Designer to join our team, reporting to the Design Director. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of both residential and commercial construction design and be capable of leading junior designers while managing their own projects. This role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the seamless execution of design projects, implementing and improving internal design processes, and overseeing the work of junior team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Visit job sites to assess space availability, design requirements, and project goals.
  • Assist the Design Director in refining and implementing internal design processes.
  • Lead client discovery meetings to understand their design preferences, budget, and project timelines.
  • Develop functional design layouts that meet client needs and comply with building codes and regulations.
  • Manage relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain quotes, ensure quality, and track changes throughout the project.
  • Lead design projects through all phases, from preliminary design to final execution, coordinating with estimating teams, project managers, architects, and engineers.
  • Oversee the creation and approval of project documentation, ensuring all plans, drawings, and renderings are kept up-to-date and accessible to the internal and external teams.
  • Review and approve work created by junior designers, providing guidance and mentorship to help them grow professionally.
  • Ensure design proposals are aligned with client budgets, expectations, and building regulations.
  • Handle light project management duties, such as sourcing materials, managing pricing changes, and tracking orders.
  • Collaborate with municipal authorities to secure building permits, address zoning and variance issues, and attend relevant meetings.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, building codes, and design innovations to maintain relevancy in the field.
  • Proficient in design software such as Chief Architect, SketchUp, and rendering tools (TwinMotion, Lumion, or Enscape), as well as presentation platforms (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Regularly report project updates to clients, Design Director, and the internal team, ensuring clear communication regarding timelines, budgets, and project scopes.
  • Manage design agreements, tracking hours and ensuring work remains within budgeted hours.
  • Maintain and update the company’s material library and bid spec material spreadsheets, ensuring pricing accuracy and product availability.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in residential and commercial design.
  • Proficiency in design software (Chief Architect, SketchUp, TwinMotion/Lumion/Enscape).
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Experience in working with subcontractors, suppliers, and municipal authorities.
  • Ability to mentor and guide junior designers, providing constructive feedback.
  • Knowledge of building codes and permitting processes.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Selection Assistant and Leads Manager to join our design-build team. In this multifaceted role, you will manage incoming lead calls, guide potential clients through the initial project scoping process, and assist in pre-construction tasks. Additionally, you will support the design team by creating material palettes, sourcing and procuring materials, and tracking orders and deliveries. Your background in interior design and familiarity with residential and commercial construction will be crucial in collaborating with designers, estimators, and project managers. Excellent customer service, sales acumen, and the ability to maintain detailed project tracking are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Management:
    • Handle incoming lead calls, document project details, and schedule follow-ups.
    • Conduct initial project scope and budget discussions to pre-qualify leads.
    • Track and update lead information in the system, ensuring smooth communication with the design and estimating teams.
  • Material Selection Support:
    • Collaborate with Architectural Designers to create cohesive material palettes for projects.
    • Utilize presentation software and basic graphic design skills to prepare selection documents for client meetings and internal use.
    • Assist with the preparation of design concepts and materials, ensuring selections align with client and project requirements.
  • Spec Book and Client Binder Creation:
    • Create spec books of selected products, including material data sheets, installation and care instructions.
    • Prepare client material care and maintenance binders for easy reference.
  • Procurement and Tracking:
    • Source, place orders for, and track materials and fixtures, maintaining accurate records in our system.
    • Monitor delivery timelines and coordinate with the construction and design teams to ensure timely project execution.
    • Act as a liaison between designers, estimators, and project managers to keep all teams aligned on material status and remaining selection tasks.
  • Internal Material Library Management:
    • Maintain the internal material library with current, available, and on-trend samples that meet our standard specifications.
    • Work with sales representatives and suppliers to keep an accurate record of availability and pricing for our standard material offerings.
  • Communication and Coordination:
    • Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and assisting with any questions or issues.
    • Schedule and attend project meetings as needed, contributing to efficient workflow management.
    • Follow up with clients and teams to keep projects moving forward and on schedule.

Qualifications:

  • Background in interior design, with experience in both residential and commercial construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes and terminology, enabling effective client and team communication.
  • Sales experience and a proactive approach to lead management.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Reporting Structure:
This position reports to the Design Director but also collaborates with and takes direction from Lead and Junior Architectural Designers.

We are looking for an individual who is highly qualified, motivated, detail oriented and hardworking. 

The position requires limited travel and a Monday through Friday work schedule with occasional weekends during high demand. 

We are looking for a painter who owns their own hand tools and has at least 3 years of painting experience. We require the painter to deliver top notch workmanship and friendly service by promoting a positive work environment. 

Requirements:
- Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation

We are looking for an individual who will be directly responsible for organizing, supervising, scheduling, and planning of multiple commercial and residential projects to maximize cost efficiency and motivate employees to complete each project assigned on time and on budget. 

Responsibilities:
- Oversee cost control to include monitoring the preparation of contract documents, budgets, scheduling, contracting, and processing of invoices.   
- Manage and monitor work of subcontractors; provides follow up to ensure completion of work and accurate, timely deliveries.   
- Understand scope of work included in the original design, budget and advise management of revisions that may be necessary.     
- Monitor plan development and specifications for cost effectiveness.    
- Coordinate all Architect and Engineer designs; review both Architect's and Engineer's plans for adequate details of good quality and conduct design review meetings.
